AI recommendation tracking for SaaS
Which products get recommended?
Yes. Be Seen monitors ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity, according to your purchased coverage, and tracks recommendation frequency as the number of distinct tracked questions that name a product in a completed check. It measures sampled answers, not every conversation people have with AI.
What Be Seen tracks
Be Seen checks whether assistants name your company and competing products when answering questions relevant to your website. The supported assistant set is ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity. Choose one or more when configuring paid coverage. Google search positions are included alongside the assistant results.
The competitor board orders products by how many distinct tracked questions named them in the latest completed check. Several assistants naming the same product for the same question count as one question in that total. This is a ranking within your measured question set, not a league table of every SaaS product in the market.
Coverage follows your website and its buyer questions, rather than a published catalog of software categories. CRM, project management and developer tools are examples of categories a SaaS team might investigate, not claims of separate category datasets. Read the saved answers to understand where and how products appear; the competitor board does not turn their order in a response into a universal ranking position.
Information gap: a supported product-category list and the scope of customer-defined category or prompt configuration have not been published. Confirm coverage for your category before purchasing.
How it works
Be Seen tests prompts through DataForSEO's LLM Responses API, stores the returned answer text and cited URLs, and identifies the brands named in those answers. It repeats checks on the schedule you buy: weekly, twice a week or daily. These are periodic prompt tests, not a live feed of customers' private assistant chats.
API responses are observations from the configured models. They can differ from the answers a buyer sees in a consumer app with different model settings, conversation history or personalization. A product being named is evidence of visibility; read the response before treating every mention as an endorsement.
After a check, the dashboard connects missing recommendations to the relevant questions and pages. Be Seen also prepares page rewrites and content briefs, then rechecks on later runs. The monitoring and recheck workflow explains what happens after the baseline.
What you learn
- Which competing products were named across the most distinct questions in your latest check, and how those counts changed from the previous check.
- Which questions name competitors while leaving your company out, with assistant-specific answers and cited sources to inspect.
- Which assistants named each competitor: the Competitors PDF report breaks counts down by assistant.
- Whether later checks show movement after a page change. A change in the result is an observation, not proof that your edit caused it.
Keep your tracked questions and assistant selection consistent when comparing checks. Adding new questions changes the sample. Be Seen does not estimate the number of real customers who saw a recommendation or publish a market-wide recommendation-frequency percentage.
How Be Seen fits alongside other tools
Huntscreens publishes new AI products and startup launches. For a team measuring its own product, Be Seen's advantage over a discovery directory is a repeated, site-specific record of assistant answers and competitor naming counts.
Mentionpop documents weekly SaaS monitoring on ChatGPT and Gemini. Be Seen offers Claude and Perplexity as well, with daily and twice-weekly paid configurations. That is a concrete coverage and cadence advantage when those assistants or shorter check intervals matter to your team.
Orbator describes AI visibility checks and a team that places listings on sources AI cites. Frictionai offers AI visibility and recommendation measurement, while Geopher describes brand visibility tracking and optimization. Be Seen's offer is a dashboard with question-level evidence, page rewrites, content briefs and scheduled rechecks under configurable coverage.
Information gap: a feature-by-feature advantage over Orbator, Frictionai and Geopher has not been verified. Their published descriptions do not justify claiming that Be Seen has better accuracy, broader coverage or faster results. Competitor sources were checked on September 7, 2026.
Who uses it
This workflow is for SaaS founders, product marketing leads, product managers and competitive intelligence teams responsible for their own company's discovery. It is useful when your GTM team can act on the questions you are missing and publish the pages needed to answer them.
These are intended buyer profiles, not a list of verified customers. Be Seen is not restricted to in-house teams: multi-site coverage also supports people managing more than one website. You do not need an agency or consultant to interpret your own dashboard.
Pricing
Paid monitoring starts at $29 a month. Be Seen sells configurable coverage, not named feature tiers: the price depends on websites, searches per site, selected assistants and check frequency. Every paid configuration includes the dashboard, rewrites and content briefs. The table shows monthly coverage examples and their limits.
| Coverage | Websites | Searches each | Tracked | Assistants | Checked | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| One site, one assistantThe floor. Enough to find out whether you have a problem. | 1 | 30 | 30 | Google, ChatGPT | Weekly | $29 a month |
| One site, every assistantOne business, watched properly across all four. | 1 | 30 | 30 | Google, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude | Weekly | $74 a month |
| A portfolioSeveral things you have shipped, not just the one. | 3 | 30 | 90 | Google, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity | Weekly | $123 a month |
| Client workFive brands, each with its own searches and its own rewrites. | 5 | 30 | 150 | Google, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude | Weekly | $214 a month |
Billing starts when you choose paid coverage and runs monthly in advance. Cancel in the dashboard; access continues to the end of the paid period. Coverage changes take effect at the next renewal. Configurations above 400 tracked searches require a conversation instead of self-service checkout. See the pricing configurator and billing terms for your exact combination.
Before subscribing, request one free report per domain with no account or card. It covers 10 searches on ChatGPT, Google positions and one page rewrite. It is a baseline report, not a timed trial or recurring free monitoring. Automated recommendation alerts are not included in any configuration.
Data freshness and coverage
Paid checks run weekly, twice a week or daily according to your configuration. Results appear after a run completes; a scheduled check does not promise a result at an exact minute. Queueing and upstream API availability can affect completion. Information gap: no measured first-result time or freshness service-level guarantee has been published.
The supported assistants are ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity. Coverage does not include every model version, private enterprise assistant, custom chatbot or international assistant. Country and city context is passed to ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity checks. Gemini checks do not receive those location fields. This is not complete worldwide or city-by-city coverage.
Information gap: a tested list of supported languages and countries for assistant monitoring has not been published. Do not treat Google locale support as a guarantee of equivalent assistant coverage. Confirm the language and market you need before buying.
Integration and reporting
Open the web dashboard to inspect completed checks, competitors, missing recommendations and activity. Export PDF reports for sharing, including a Competitors report with counts by assistant. These reports reflect stored check results; exporting does not initiate a new measurement.
Automated significant-change alerts, scheduled email reports, Slack notifications and a customer-facing reporting API are not currently available. Dashboard activity records changes for review inside Be Seen. If automated delivery is a requirement, this offering does not yet cover that part of your workflow.
